| - So I now know why this place got the rating that it did. I came here last Saturday to get a manicure and pedicure because I my car was in the shop, so I thought I could kill 2 birds with 1 stone. I read the reviews but still decided to give them the benefit of the doubt... I kinda wish I didn't.
It was a tad pricy for my gel manicure and pedicure (pedi had no sugar scrub but would be an additional charge) it cost $75.00 total. When I had my pedicure done, 3 of the polish didn't look as shiny as the rest so I told the guy who was doing my nails to apply the clear coat on, he then told me that it looked dull because of the lotion on it. He put the alcohol wipe to the polish and it still looked dull so he repainted it. One of his coworkers walked by and asked what he was doing because at this point, my left foot was on the floor with the LED light and he said that because I moved, the polish didn't get to cure. Seriously???
By this point, I was annoyed and I'm getting my manicure. The reason why I waited a week to write this review was so see how long it would last before my make my final conclusion for the review. It looked nice when it was first done but I noticed little air bubbles in my polish, the polish looked a bit streaky and sheer and after 2 days, I noticed a little chip on it. As the days progressed, it's starting to lift and it has only been 1 week. I know gel polish isn't suppose to be indestructible but it shouldn't be streaky, sheer (after 3 coats), have air bubbles in it or start to lift that soon.
All in all, I will not be returning to this place to get my nails done. I'll find another shop.
