Even though I mostly service my bike at the Do-It-Yourself bike shop known as Bike Pirates, occasionally my bike needs to be serviced by someone with a lot more bike repair knowledge than I possess.
Recently, I had to get a my rear hub serviced, and Derrick, the proprietor, did a great job fixing it up. He had a chuckle, as I apparently wore down the hub so much that he rarely saw one so mangled that still functioned. He even photographed it, and compared the part to what it was supposed to look like. Let's just say my hub's part looked highly deformed.
Cheerful, knowledgable and fast service. If you live in the area around Harbord and Chrisite Pits, this is a great little fixer-upper place.
