  • I definitely like how you can hear the music from Wet Republic, since it gives the place a young and fun vibe. However, the pool area was a hot mess. There were bottles and cups scattered everywhere. It looked like a frat party gone wrong. Either the hotel needs more staff to clean up the walkways, or the guests need to be chastised and prompting to be more diligent and respectful. The lazy river doesn't move. I went to the one at Mandalay Bay last month, and you get yelled at by the lifeguards if you stop the water's flow, because you're seen as an obstruction. At this river complex, people are just hanging around, clogging up the movement. Only a few select people are floating in a circle, and they're getting pushed and shoved by those around them. One girl in our group had a man take a picture of her crotch with a GoPro camera, so beware of sketchy people! Moreover, there's no way to navigate around the triple waterfall without getting wet. The only thing you can do is get out, so be prepared to get yourself, and your hair, fully soaked.
