HORRID HORRID CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I am shellshocked with what I have experienced with this company and this service rep. I am absolutely breathless. If I remotely felt responsible for the damage to my luggage, I would not be writing such a derogatory review of this company. My lovely piece of luggage was originally damaged by Air Canada. So I hunted for what I thought would be a reputable company specializing in luggage repair, and I sent my mid size piece for repairs to Love Your Leather. I requested an estimate to give to Air Canada as well as repairs to the dent and torn side pocket The driver was prompt and very courteous. When the same drive returned my "repaired" luggage, I checked out the quality of the completed repairs while the driver was present. The rips and dents had been repaired but the handle no longer engaged or worked.The driver from the company also noticed that the handle was broken which it had not been when he picked it up for repair. He actually told me he had tested it out when he picked it up. So I sent the luggage back to the company for repairs to repair the broken handle. I contacted the office today to explain why I had returned it. To my absolute shock, they denied that the handle damage was done by their company at all. The rep, Cathy, kept interrupting me and cutting me off insisting that that the damage was there before the luggage was sent out to them. I know for certain that It was not. The handle was a little stiff but quite workable at all heights. Cathy checked the handle and confirmed that it was broken and so offered to put in a new handle but that I would be charged extra for this damage and repair (because as she insisted it was my fault and could not have been done by the company!!!). She was adamant. I do know that the other repair work was very close to the handle mechanism. Who knows how my handle got broken. Cathy kept insisting though that I was lying and she was right and after her tirade of bullying, she said she would be returning my piece of luggage as is .... a totally unusable piece of luggage. There was nothing more to say -- just absolutely stunned. One very defensive and very angry customer service rep. If this is the kind of company attitude that permeates this organization and their service policy, I would stay away. I am sure there are better luggage repair services out there. As I said above, if there was a remote possibility that I had done anything to break this handle, I would not be writing this awful review.
