| - My friends and I took a quick stroll through the park before our flights, and it was nice because you didn't have to be actively staying at Circus Circus to enter, but everything inside costs money.
At the same time, it nailed the shambly amusement park aesthetic. It brought back a lot of nostalgia. Some of the windowpanes that were part of the dome were shattered, the ceiling was leaking (yes, it rained in Las Vegas when I was there), the ground shaked uncontrollably when the rollercoaster was operating, and some of the controllers didn't work, or were completely uncalibrated.
But, the arcade games that were traditional non-shooters were a blast from the past. All of the machines had their joysticks and buttons in great working condition. I even made it as far as Stage 13 in Galaga. I usually end the game at Stage 5, for reference.
Nice for some quick fun, but I wouldn't stay there all day, because there wasn't much to do, and if I stayed, I'd have a completely empty wallet by the end of the day.
