I really enjoy Pittsburgh Poke! As other reviews have said, don't let the weird exterior fool you. At first glance, I never would have stopped by in a million years - but fortunately word of mouth travels fast when it comes to food and lots of friends have had great things to say about the place so I stopped in for lunch one day. $11-$13 may be more than what some are willing to pay for lunch, but I personally think that what you get for the price is worth it! Even with the lower-priced option you get your choice of two proteins, and unlimited toppings come without an upcharge. Avocado in fact, is not extra.
My typical bowl starts with a salad base, shrimp and spicy tuna, and a mix of different toppings with a bit of spicy mayo and the poke sauce. Everything is so fresh and don't be deterred by the long line. They move people through fast!
