Came here with 4 girlfriends and it was definitely a neat but overpriced concept. Like all other group DIY places, it is hard to keep up good conversation/bonding time when you are so concentrated on your project. The place is very cute with the Pinterest projects displayed and even a bar for alcohol and snacks.
My one friend and I purchased the $80 Groupon for 2 string art boards, 2 ink tile projects, and 2 glasses of wine which is a smokin deal considering the normal price! While the string art project was absolutely beautiful, it was laborious. We spent 5 hours there and my friend didn't even finish! They did give her extra materials to take so she can finish at home. Halfway through I wanted to give up. Didn't even get to enjoy my wine. The rest of the girls had to leave us as they finished their simpler projects in 2 hours.
Another friend chose to paint a message board for her dining room. She used a stencil for her words but the paint bled through and smeared the letters. One of the staff took it from her to see if she can fix it and ended up dropping it and smearing it more. She tried to play it off like it didn't happen too...My friend did a great job fixing it though!
Other girls' projects were the etched words/pictures on a soap dispenser mason jar and a painted chalk board.
If I came back, I would definitely choose an easier project so I can enjoy myself and my company!
