rev:text	I'm a bit of a Starbucks snob, I admit it. My beverage of choice is not one that is on the menu (but it's not that obscure, either), and my daughter was a barista at a Seattle Starbucks for many years, so I know that drinks are supposed to be consistent at any Starbucks one goes to. But in reality, they are not. This site has not made my drink "right" the three times I've been here, on this most recent trip to Montreal. The ratio of ingredients is not right. Not bad enough to return, granted, but not quite "it". (Those of you coffee people out there will understand). Today I was a bit dismayed when I visited: I placed my order at the front counter and was rung up. But when I went to the pick-up area, the barista informed me that they were out of a key ingredient in my drink. I was amazed that the person taking my order didn't inform me of this; had I known, I would have ordered a different drink. But I had already ordered and paid for my beverage, so they tweaked the recipe and used different ingredients (there are only three in my drink in total), and of course, it totally tasted off. They really need to tell people when ordering if they are out of an ingredient in that order. Argh. I'm sure if one is ordering mainstream drinks like frappacinos and vanilla lattes and drip coffees, this place would be just fine. But for anything not on the menu per se, I'd go elsewhere. That said, the restaurant interior is cute, and the guy who works behind the counter and the female barista are super nice. There's a friendly vibe here which I like. And the bathroom is clean. I'll return - but only to get a mainstream beverage, or some reserve coffee.
