Do not ever use this physician! Office staff is awful as well. I've had nothing but complications since my surgery and even when I went to the emergency room & the physician didn't even come to see me & I was three weeks postop. The day after my surgery I had an allergic reaction to the pain medication and his office staff member, his sister Tina told me I had to bring in my unused pain medication and leave it with her. Not only is that illegal but it's a federal offense. In order to receive narcotics you have to be a designated area that is run by the drug enforcement agency. Not only that, in order for me to have brought in the medication to the office, it would've been within a 24 hour period of my surgery which by their own rule states you are not allowed to drive or operate machinery. Then came the co-pay, deductible etc. The original price they quoted me was almost double what my insurance quoted them and them. Of course they then charged me an extra 6% for using my CC to pay. They also took the mandatory payment for the anesthesiologist who is the brother of the surgeon , including the 6% fee. Now that my insurance has paid them, they're refusing to give me back the difference without charging me an additional 15% fee for refunding it to my CC which I was told because I use the credit card I had to be refunded to the same credit card. I wish I would've looked at all of these negative comments prior to choosing this physician. I have two more surgeries ahead because even though I had signed the consent allowing him to take care of any other issues he may find, he didn't. I did not know this for two weeks because after my surgery he didn't even bother to let my family know who had been waiting in the waiting room, that I was finished and update them on my condition after the procedure. It was only two weeks later at my follow up appointment that he let me know it was urgent for me to get the other hernia repaired.
