  • For the Salon. I had a coupon for a $50 cut and color with a designer or senior designer only. I called and scheduled an appointment, explaining that I had a coupon and therefore wanted a cut and color. The receptionist obviously didn't know how to work whatever program they use to make schedules because she would name a time, then take it back, then figured out there was only a single time available the whole day. So, I take it. I arrive about ten minutes early to said appointment, and check in. When I give my name and show the coupon, the lady tells me that the coupon is only good for a designer or senior designer only, and the type of color I want is not fully covered by the coupon (uhh, where does it specify this in the fine print?). She says that I have been put down for only a cut, and with a master, which is apparently herself. So, I wait for her to present some sort of solution since apparently the receptionist screwed up, and this was no fault of my own. But none comes. She refuses to color my hair, but will cut it on the condition that I pay extra because she is a master, afterall. She had a terrible attitude, and I wouldn't have let her touch my hair for even less money, at this point. Obviously, I turn down this ridiculous offer, and tell her I'd like to reschedule, but the only day I am available after that appointment (that I had cleared my whole schedule for) was after the coupon expired, but I expect it to be honored. She agrees, puts in the next appointment, makes a note, and sends me on my way. All in all, the service was terrible. There's obviously communication problems with the receptionist. And there was little to no action done to correct the problem. This is absolutely ridiculous considering the outrageous prices they charge.
