  • I've been to and through this tunnel 20-25 times in various cars (I bring 4 cars there, including a fleet car). The key word here is consistent results. I've been through car washes from coast to coast, and this car wash is top-notch. The wash is always thorough, and the set up works well for those who may be in a hurry and want to zip right through (not using vacuums or towel drying) or for those with more time who want to detail their own car thoroughly. Since there are no paid-staff towel dryers, there's no pressure to tip and you can move at your own speed. The up-sell is minimal; if there is a staffer at the pay station, they will mention that monthly passes are available - but there's little pressure. I have thought about the monthly pass, but have still not pulled the trigger on one (too many cars, I suppose). These staffers are doing what their bosses tell them to do: inform, but don't pressure. I also like that there aren't any windshield vultures circling around. I'm there to get my cars washed, not to replace a windshield. The car wash does a great job. I typically get the $15 wash, as keeping the exterior fully protected from the AZ sun is a smart thing to do. The vacuum stations are all good - with very little suction power drop-off as you move away from the main unit. The air compressor nozzle is also a handy tool to have at each location. I have been to some car washes where the vacuum stations are cramped - not so at this location. There is plenty of room for cars and trucks right next to each other to work with doors open. The access and egress from the vacuum stations is also good. It could be set up a little better, I suppose, but you're dealing with real estate border constraints, so all these things have to be taken into account. From what they're dealing with, flow-through is pretty good. Overall, staff is friendly, machines do their job consistently, and the location is convenient (QT is located immediately to the north - no affiliation - so you can fill up and get your car washed at the same time, if that works for you).
