I visited Las Vegas Ice Center during the holiday to skate on their Winter Wonderland.
Upon entering the store we were greeted by two women behind the counter with a smile. We informed them of what we wanted, paid and were on our way. They accept cash and card so no worries.
Around the corner is a concession stand, benches, lockers, skate pick up and the entrance to the two rinks. One rink is for hockey and the other free skate. I recommend checking the website for times of each.
Lockers cost 75 cent and I recommend a locker for shoes and belongings. Lockers are first come first server so. All the staff were super nice.
The Winter Wonderland was beautiful. Elsa and Olaf were skating on the ice with children and taking pictures and even Santa popped in every now and then for a photo. In the middle of the rink they had beautiful Holiday decorations, in the corner there was a giant snowman, and the entrance was also decorated with lights. There was also a fire projected in the back of the rink by the bar to make it nice and cozy with holiday music playing.
**While paying I saw a sign that said All The Skate Buddies Were Sold Out! - the little skate helpers, but inside of the rink an employee were giving them out. If you need a skate buddy I recommend asking the staff by the rink and not the employees behind the counter.
You also receive a free small hot chocolate with check-in and it was much needed after 2 1/2 hours of skating and falling. :)
