I like that King Eddy has old time appeal. I stayed here on a business trip, and I really enjoyed that the hotel felt unique, in contrast to hotels such as the W, which are upscale but also generic with the same feeling in every city. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the location is fantastic.
The rooms are larger, but no real wow factor, just comfortable. Also, they only have internet through ethernet wires in the rooms!! No wireless. This was a huge disappointment, and they need to upgrade. I had to go to the lobby to grab wi-fi for my DROID, which was a major inconvenience. Most hotels should have wireless in the rooms... its 2011!
