  • Took my best friend to Cibo for a belated birthday lunch back in July. She basically has the pallet of a tube sock and doesn't venture far out of meat and potatoes style food. We had the Farfalle and Gnocchi for our meals. OMG so good. Perfect amount of pesto on the farfalle, noodles cooked perfectly and just the right amount of cheese. She never had gnocchi before and fell in love with it. We were sitting on the patio and happened to see the guy from " dragons den" which was pretty cool. The patio is awesome, like a little oasis in the middle of 17th. And its nicely fenced off so the people on the street don't bug you. One thing she really enjoyed was when we got Q water the server informed us that for every bottle sold 2$ of it goes to the Ronald McDonald house. We have a mutual friend that has a sick kid so she was over the moon about it. For dessert we had the 3 sorbets and the ricotta balls with 2 dipping sauces. Amazing. There should be 4 ricotta balls though, cause that would have stopped us from fighting over the last one. I like Cibo a lot, will be back when I want really good pasta and the craving strikes me.
