  • I love this place. I loved it more when the front was still set up as a lounge because it was nice for hanging out and chatting with friends, but I can't really fault the business logic behind converting it to dining tables. The Mac and Cheese is awesome, the Bacon Wrapped Bacon N Egg is one of my favourite dishes in town, the cookies are amazing, the brussel sprouts are great. The bartenders are top notch. Friendly, knowledgeable, constantly experimenting to bring the best mixes, they obviously love their job. I've tried a number of their experiments as well as the special cocktails off the menu and they've all been good. Really I only have two complaints. The southern friend game hen is now off the menu and the recipe for the Chicken Pot Pie bites keeps changing. The first time I went over a year ago they were really good, the next time a few months later, not so much. Still good, but not as good as they had been. I told them they needed to go back to the old recipe. The latest visit they were better but obviously still being experimented with.
