  • I went to this vet back in 2011. They use to have a website and it said that they did hoof trimming for mini pigs. I called and asked just to be sure as I had been having trouble finding a vet to do this. Sure enough they said yes, they offered this service, so I went ahead and made an appointment. I show up the day of the appointment with Oliver(my pig) they come out and take him and don't let me go back with him. They bring him back out and his hooves are bleeding. They assure me this is normal. 8 months go by and Oliver is needing another nail trim I call and make another appointment. We get there they again take him and won't let me go back with him to try and keep him calm. They come out after(his hooves bleeding just like last time) and tell me next time they want to put him under anesthesia just to trim his hooves. Anesthesia is extremely dangerous to pigs especially mini pigs. I said absolutely not and found someone else to trim Olivers hooves. His hooves never bleed when they are trimmed by this lady. I don't believe Dr.Evans has the knowledge or experience to be offering this service. Please don't take your mini pigs here.
