  • Horrible... Horrible... Horrible!!! After waiting in the line to get up to the reservation desk approximately 70 minutes we were promised a Kia Soul, which was a compact car were being charged for a midsize car. That was okay because we wanted to drive the Kia as we were thinking about buying one. we were also very high pressured to take the additional insurances . They even have all the state laws on the back of your of the laminated card that they flipped over. Very very high pressure. I was told that my auto insurance wouldn't cover any losses. This is a lie . An absolute outright lie. My sister was the manager for RPM and Alamo car rental in Palm Springs California. she told us that this was one of the fabrications that all automobile rental companies use to try to increase their profits. they are simply lying and fleecing the public. We were then directed down the stairs to pick up the car. When we got down the stairs there was another line that took us approximately 45 minutes to get through, to get to the front of the line to talk to an overworked young guy. he said he hadn't seen a Kia soul in a number of months. What was ridiculous was they had these guys running all over the lot looking for cars and then driving them up to the passengers. All the times I've used various car rentals I've never seen anyone having to ferry cars up to the customer (rather they direct customers to the line of cars that are available which expedites time tremendously.) This Las Vegas operation has got to be some sort of slipshod franchise because if Dollar (national) knew how bad this operation was, they would xxxx their pants!!! Spend a couple more bucks and go with a REAL car rental company and leave this joke Dollar operation in Las Vegas Airport alone! WARNING: do not rent from these guys!!!
