  • In this day and age, it is shocking that a bowling alley, an activity that is so appealing to kids and families, would use peanut oil for all of its fried food (along with selling peanut cookies). Putting aside the fact that there isn't anything for those with peanut allergy to eat--the oil and residue remains on the balls and poses a big risk to those who have a serious allergy. As this becomes more of a problem, groups will choose other activities and bowling alleys when they have one or more individuals in their group who have peanut allergy. So, you not only lose the business of the peanut allergic person, you lose the business of the whole group he/she would have come in with. I hope AMF will reconsider the products they sell given the very real risks to these individuals.
