The location of the store is pretty good for the downtowners who don't want to venture into the suburbs for their furniture buying needs. The store is quite spacious in size that offers a wide variety of reasonably priced furniture, appliances and electronics as far as I can see.
In addition, the store is located at The Roundhouse which is a pretty interesting place full of railway history. I wonder if the staff at Leon's will be able to tell a good story like the staff at Steam Whistle. Perhaps Leon's should offer tours as well to entice more people into the store.
I don't usually shop at Leon's, but usually come to this location because that's where race kit pickup is available for the Achilles St. Patrick's Day 5k. Leon's is one of the many sponsors for the run and over the past few years have provided the oversized canvas bags to hold the race kits. Good advertising on the part of Leon's!
I cannot comment on the Leon's staff because I haven't dealt with any of them during my short visit to pick up my race kit since I just make time to do a quick browse.
Perhaps one day I'll just venture to the store to really browse and check out the abundance of furniture available. I'm sure it'll make for an interesting excursion.
