I have been coming here since day 1, opening day. I saw it on the evening news and heard it had Chicago style food. Since I have many friends who are from Chicago, I had to see if the rumors were true about how great the food is from there. Needless to say, my friends are right. On opening day, I was pleasantly surprised that the line was long and so was the wait. I ordered the Italian beef sandwich and accidentally ordered the hot peppers with it. I am so glad I made that mistake. I consider myself a regular there and do make the drive when I have the craving for Al's. Luke's of Chicago is also another favorite. I cannot pick a favorite between the two, they are both very great and different. They need to open one closer to me. Luke's has a new place closer, but I will still make the trek to Scottsdale. Btw, I had my order/sandwich taken away by someone else on opening day with the same name. That is why they call out numbers now. Thank goodness.
