  • We used to love this place when it was the sugar factory, the food was awesome and the people watching on the patio justified strip prices. Now that it's changed to Hexx the coffee is not great, but the food is still average. Today we came with a specific request to sit by the railing on the patio - a request that came with a wait. We waited for our table and we were placed on the patio far from the rail. As a local, we don't pay strip prices for something less than what we ask for ... we requested to be moved to one of the several open rail tables and were told we would have to wait. Seeing as how we had already waited, this was upsetting. A conversation with the "manager" revealed that she wouldn't move us because people specifically wait for those tables ... read above. She was very unpleasant and unapologetic for the lack of service. We left today and didn't have breakfast. We will not be coming back and hope that tourists heed our warning - you will pay a lot for breakfast here, it's not worth the cost when the food is average but the service is terrible.
