Three others and myself arrived at around 9 pm. We were seated with no reservation after 5 minutes. Ambience is pretty, it was nice and dimly lit. We waited over 10 minutes for our server, Cheng, to come to our table. While he was pleasant, he seemed a little shy and disappeared for most of our meal. The menu wasn't explained to us, nor did he help at all in making suggestions. He was only there to take our drink and food order and drop off dessert at the end. Also, we could barely hear his quiet voice. I appreciated all of the other bussers refilling our water glasses and picking up our finished plates, however.
The food was delicious! The grilled pork neck was the highlight of our meal. Very tender and flavorful. Also, the iceberg dessert was very unique. I loved the corn and rose water flavor, it was delicious.
I don't think I would come back. Service is part of a dining experience, and tonight's service left me feeling frustrated. But two stars for ambience and food.
