  • I cannot believe how a company like Ashley Furniture can get away with scamming their customers !! I bought a sectional last August and the salesmen was able to get us the sectional with credit. We have been making payments on a $1400 couch and brought the balance down to just $349 and got hit with 29% interest not on the remaining balance but on the FULL PURCHASE! I don't understand how they can get away with putting interest on monies that have already been paid back! I was just about to pay the remaining $349 to purchase new furniture for my newborn but I will not be going back into that scam trap, spoke with the manager and she was useless did not seem at all fazed by the scam stating that there is nothing they could do and if the salesmen didn't tell me, it was in the contract. I think ANYONE in their right mind would remember such a high percentage hit after promotional period is over. Ashley Furniture use a crooked credit card company to get people into buying their furniture! Now instead of paying off the $349 and getting customers for life they lost customers and I will make sure everyone I know and even people I don't know that they are huge scam artists. The salesmen do not explain things to you and after the promotion period is over they rob you blind. Disgusting and ridiculous. Save yourself the headache and go to another furniture company that is transparent with their contracts and interest rates.
