This was my first experience at fist of fusion and I was hoping for a better experience. I ordered a loco moco, chicken katsu, short rib, and Kalua pork sisig. The loco moco seemed relatively tough, but the gravy was pretty good. Short rib was tender and mildly flavorful. Kalua pork "sisig" might as well been called Kalua pork, instead of capitalizing on a trendy gimmick. But the most unfortunate occurrence was the metallic wire in the chicken katsu (pictured) that in my fiancee's plate. Not sure how it got in there but it was lodged between two pieces of katsu slices. Island Flavor still reigns supreme as the premier Island food hot spot, but I'm hoping for a better experience at fist of fusion one day.
