  • I've really enjoyed all my visits to El Sombrero, as it is some of the best Mexican food in Calgary (but that's always the qualifier: In Calgary). It has a great location on 17th Avenue, and the restaurant is just darling. I love the colourful, authentic decor, and the food was very tasty. I recently went for a friend's birthday and it was soo good. I had the fajitas which were very tasty, and stole other peoples food too (as far as my taste tests went, everything is delicious). The staff were very friendly, and it just made it a fun night all around.
