  • Amazing selection here. If you are looking for more obscure Japanese items, this is the place. So far, every time I look for something, they have it. Everything from Yama Imo to sauces, etc., they have it, and I am always impressed to find things that I can't find at the other Asian markets that carry Japanese items. I have to say, though, that my absolute favorite thing from Japan Creek is the okara. I can't believe someone makes it here and it is so delicious. It's only available on certain days, so that is the only drawback, but they will accommodate you and call you if you ask. The workers are always super nice here and they have a great loyalty card, too. It's in a good location, and the store is always clean and well-stocked.
