  • I don't want write a bad review if I can avoid it but if the service stinks then there is no way around it. We called and arranged to stay for a single night at this Super 8. It was $51 (not including tax) for one night which fitted our budget. After a hot ride through the desert on a motorcycle we were glad to see our destination. The lady who signed us up for our room put us on the second floor (no balcony). Make sure to tell them if you have a disability and tell them if you can't climb stairs. Why because they will pick your room for you even if you have a preference. We asked for a NON-SMOKING room. Funny thing is the entire non-smoking floor smelt of the strong distinct odor of old cigarettes and cigars! ( So if you are sensitive to smoke beware). The interior of the room was GROSS. Everything smelt unclean, furniture was very beaten up, and the stale smoke was very strong. Even the towels smelt like they were NEVER cleaned (like they were just picked up, folded, and put back on the rack) ICK! I was hesitant to sleep under the covers (thank goodness I didn't) since when I took a peek under the covers there were chunks of head hair (and other bodily hair) all over the bed! (they obviously don't wash the sheets after the previous guest(s) have left. There is no microwave in any of the rooms and no water available to guests (unless you like to drink from the tap). The decor was still from the late 80's (red mud colored carpet, matching old felt curtains, box TV, and everything old pastel colors). It wasn't worth the $51+ stay at all. I didn't sleep well at this Super 8 since I kept dreaming I was being attacked by bedbugs and lice. I have stayed at cleaner, more professional motels for cheaper so it's safe to say we won't be back here. Avoid this location; there are better options down the road.
