I am not a person to sing in front of anyone but my two-year-old granddaughter, but when we her mom and dad suggested we go to GoGo Karaoke for some family fun I said yes.
I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. I thought it would not be inviting to family but it was the opposite. The owner welcomed us and showed us how to use the equipment.
It is equipped with a kitchen to whip up appetizers, dollar snacks, fountain drinks and spirits for the more mature gatherings.
The rooms have the colored lights swirling and two TV screens so you can sit on the couch and sing or stand in front of your audience while looking at another screen.
You can't hear anyone else in other rooms, and you get two microphones so you can belt out your favorite song with a buddy.
It was a great time at this clean and inviting karaoke business. We had fun singing and taking video of each other.
