| - If you haven't stop by, you haven't experience seriously good food. I love that it's family owned and operated. Prices are lower than most ethnic grocers. They carry fresh vegetables, herbs & exotic fruits. Both pre-made food and made-to-order food (papaya salad, pho, duck egg noodles, chicken noodle soup (noodles are handmade), rare beef salad) are ALL exceptionally delicious. No wonder they were recognized on the Vegas Seven Cheap Eats magazine. It's obvious they know home cooking as each dish speaks for itself. If you're in a rush, you can call ahead and place your orders to either dine in or take out. Because authentic laos food is such a rarity in OC, I stock up on the homemade chili sauce, ready to eat sausage, beef jerky, packaged pork sausage that the Hawaiian's love love and so do I.
Oddly enough, I even take home at least 3 to 4 bags of ready made sticky rice that's available at the check out counter. When I get home from that long drive, I would microwave the bags for 3-4 minutes and it's soft, fresh and ready to eat again. If you're looking for inexpensive, authentic, and home cooked meals, put this down as you top favorite eats and grocery.
