This place is so cool. Food is made to order, so it's nice and fresh. The menu was pretty large and I was disappointed that I couldn't try any of the meat dishes (oh, Lenten Fridays!). I mean, the pork belly looked PHENOM. I decided to order the grilled mahi-mahi. Any of the entrees come with rice and one side, so I chose the eggplant salad. (It was either that or the papaya salad. That's an awesome option to have, right?)
I was starving when I got there, so even though I probably only had to wait for 15 minutes, I felt like I was waiting for an eternity! The mahi-mahi had a nice garlicy flavor to it, so when you combined it with the white rice + vinegar/soy sauce, it was too good. The eggplant salad was different than anything I've ever had and it added a nice saltiness to the dish.
Another Filipino food win!
