A group of family and friends went to Flemings for happy hour this evening. We arrived right at 5pm when they open because it's usually packed for the good happy hour deals (which are restricted to the bar and patio). Plus we had a group of six; we sat on the lovely patio very nice ambiance and weather.
The calamari, bread basket and prime burger were great. The house burrata was interesting, described to us as deconstructed bruschetta. The Flemings Salad dressing was a bit heavy, the Brussel sprouts were drenched in balsamic vinaigrette.
The servers and wait staff were very great so professional and friendly. The food took a lifetime to wait for; while I understand we were a large party and a packed restaurant, we were also one of the first tables to sit down seeing that we were sat when the restaurant opened. Tables of 6+ near us also ordered, ate, paid and left before our food arrived...backwards.
