  • I'm a big fan of Golden Tiki and decided to bring my cousin here when she came to visit me. I definitely talked this place up because of the Dole whip but was disappointed with the experience we had. We literally waited half an hour for a bar tender to give us attention. I understand that it was a Friday night and they were super busy, but still, we shouldn't have had to wait that long for attention. We almost decided to leave but my cousin really wanted to try the Dole Whip. I ordered the Dark and Stormy and the bartender used WAY too much ginger beer. I come here frequently and have had this drink many times so I'm familiar with the flavor. I only drank half of it and then left. I really do love this place and I'm disappointed that I had a not so great experience, especially since I had company from out of town. I would recommend coming here when it isn't so busy.
