  • I have been waiting for cupcakes to come to Medina! When Main Street opened, I was so excited. The first time I stopped by their darling little storefront, they were closed. Turns out, second time's a charm! I took a friend with me and bought six cupcakes: egg nog, gingerbread, chocolate mocha, cookies & cream, chocolate peanut butter, and the classic chocolate. The cupcakes were placed in a box and tied with a pretty ribbon. Off I went, eager to get them home to share with my husband. My friend ate hers right away and said it was good (maybe she didn't want to hurt my feelings?), but when hubby and I tried ours, we were so disappointed. The cake was dry, and the frosting was hard! They looked so cute in the box, but in my mouth they were the opposite of cute. I took one bite of each cupcake and threw the rest away. Tragic. I'm giving Main Street 3 stars because they are new, and I want them to improve. When I try them again in a few months, I'm hoping they'll make me forget about my first experience.
