| - Despite issues we had prior to our appointment to buy a Crosstrek, I was excited once I left the dealership with my brand new car. But once it was time for service? Ugh. I'm reading reviews I see here now and know that I'm not alone. The first time I had a problem was when I went for my 12k tune up. I just happened to have a nail in my tire as well so wanted to schedule ASAP. When I called to explain and schedule, I was told they didn't have tires for my vehicle (a car which sits on their lot currently, it's not as though it's an old model) in stock and they'd have to order it. When I explained that I needed something sooner and asked for suggestions, nothing. Literally nothing. Can't help you. Can you call another dealership? No.
So. I call another dealership. I find the tire at Camelback. I call back Chandler, let them know and they tell me I'll have to go pick up and they can install it. Never mind I'm paying for the tire one place and then paying for the install at another. Seriously. And the whole time, it doesn't occur to anyone that all of this is super inconvenient. No one thinks to apologize, offer any solutions to make things easier or empathize in the least. They literally didn't care at all. So we get the tire. We go to the appointment. They wash your car when they're done. I wish they wouldn't have because they didn't dry the windows and they were all funky to where I couldn't even see through them. When I talked to the manager later he says "We give these cars a mini detail." Which is so funny because on my very first visit, the guy that took my car, when I asked if they clean it, said, "We just run it through a quick exterior wash, that's all." So the manager either lied to me or no one there does what's actually expected. Either way, I'm on the losing end.
Now, one of the vents on my 2017 Crosstrek broke. I don't even know how it happened and I'm really upset because it's still new. I shouldn't be having these types of issues. Not only that, I'm going to have to go back to this place to get it fixed. Great.
These guys will sell you a Subaru. But they won't take good care of you once you a customer. Don't waste your time, because they WILL waste yours.
