  • First off let me say I went to this hair salon 3 years ago so I'm not sure if the stylist that did my hair still works here.. So I came to this salon while I was attending hair school, I lived close by and after a day of lightning my hair at school I ran out of time to finish with a toner. So I decided to come to this salon since it was in my neighborhood at the time,, big mistake! I first called and told them my hair was lightened how much would it cost just for a toner to be put on, they quoted me about 20$. So being a student at the time I thought this was super affordable. I came in and was one of two clients in this whole salon and then was greeted by a blonde younger stylist who told me how she just finished hairschool a year prior to working here..Every few minutes she would be asking other stylists what should she be doing or mixing colour wise. I should have just walked out right there but I was desperate to get my hair a nice shade of blonde! Well she decided that the girls that lightened my hair at school missed a spot so she needed to re bleach my whole head! Okay even as a student I knew this wasn't right and she should have just put lighter on that one spot.. So after TWO bleach applications and a burning scalp she brings me to the sink and doesn't recommend but insists on a hair treatment.. Well no shit you just fried my hair! So she does all this then finally puts the toner on and dear god she puts on the wrong level and my hair was a dark blonde almost brown. I was so disappointed in her work and tell her I am fine leaving with wet hair because at this point I can't believe what this girl has done with my hair! But nope she once again insists I need to get it styled so I'm in her chair and she starts what she calls trimming my ends which ended up being about 4 inches! This girl had no gift for hair I don't know how anyone stood by and let her do this.. Then as she is blow drying my hair it's pretty much breaking off and she is trying to straighten it while drying it with a comb nope not a roundbrush a COMB.... I have super curly hair do I have to explain myself anymore? So all in all I left looking like a short haired frizzy poodle,, thanks for the chemical haircut and scalp burns! I also had a 180$ bill at the end of this and i wanted to argue it but at that time felt intimidated by all the stylists at the counter when i left, its like they knew that girl messed up and all wanted to see..Such a terrible experience. After this incident I went back to hairschool and told all my instructors and friends. I have since graduated hairschool and worked at some high end salons in Toronto and have yet to even see anyone have an experience like the one I had at this hair salon.
