  • Arrived at about 4:00p... Took a few minutes for anyone to come get us started, but no big deal. I requested the VIP wash (19.99) and the gentleman offered me an exterior dressing for just $5 more that would restore the dull plastic. I agreed. We gathered our belongings and went inside. Satan has squatted his ass squarely over Glendale today so its about 115 outside. The attendents looked miserable and my kids and I were excited to head inside for relief... I think Satan was using this place as a CPAP though because it was like 95 inside. Know what though? Its summer in AZ, AC is pricey so I'll tough it out. What's 20 minutes or so, right? We sat inside for about 25 minutes and I noticed that our truck hadn't moved. They hadn't even started to vacuum it. :0( Bummer. They did two other vehicles that came after us. Frustrating! But just as I was about to go reclaim my tuck and move on they started vacuuming, so I let it go. We grabbed a couple Sodas, went and paid, then I grabbed a seat at the hightop table overlooking the finishing area while my kids played on the arcade machines... I looked over my receipt and noticed they had charged me 6.00 for the extra dressing. I turned around to address it and there was nobody behind the counter. I felt stupid fussing over a dollar so I decided to let it go as well. I then watched several news stories, my kids begged for quarters. I read a couple New Times articles. My kids begged for more quarters & drinks. Wait drinks?!!? They had each finished their 20oz sodas. Nice. I let them share the rest of mine. Just as I began to doze off (or pass out from the heat- tomato, tomoto) someone tapped on the window and pointed to my truck. I looked down at my phone and it was 5:15. I wearily tipped the poor sweaty guy who had polished the plastics & he told me my receipt was good for a basic wash if it rained in the next 7 days. I thanked him & climbed in my truck. They had done a good job, but not an hours worth of amazing. Still some reminiscent crumbs on the floor & my windshield had a few streaks but I wasn't about to complain. I let that shit go too. All in all - this place was okay, buuuut I'll refrain from returning... just gonna let them go.
