This is a nice library situated in a sweet little area with shops and restaurants right outside the door. There is a beautiful sitting area outside for beautiful spring and summer days where you can read your checked out books. Inside is small compared to other area libraries but it's laid out well. They have a great reading room with a fireplace( not sure if it works), a media center, a teen area, a kids area with plenty of activities to keep the wee ones happy! Signs posted around tell you to clean up after your kids finish playing but the only thing missing is some Lysol wipes. The staff wasn't overly friendly but they were pleasant enough and seemed to enjoy being there. As we were checking out we noticed the books for sale area, one for .50 books and the other for $1.00 books. My family and I were in heaven. We walked out the library with about 30 plus books including some really great cookbooks and novels. Score! Score! Score! Don't pass it by, find a good read and then donate the book to Goodwill when you're done with it. Our first visit here was really nice and we will certainly be back. My 6 and 9 year, normally prefer ImaginOn in uptown but had a really great time here and it's a lot easier on me as a parent to stay in one area instead of constantly running from place to place in the larger library. Give this place a visit, check out some books because remember, READING IS FUNDAMENTAL and there's nothing like the feel of agood book in your hands! Kindle can't do that!
That is all!
