I heard great things about this place from so many people and I finally got time to check it out. Tried the cinnabun pancakes, the bacon pancakes, the kalua pig benedict and of course no breakfast is complete without a side of bacon.
Starting with the kalua pig benedict with shredded pork shredded cabbage egg poached medium and hollandaise on an english muffin. I thought it was awful the hollandaise was a strange bright yellow almost gold instead of the very light yellow which I think is normal. The whole dish had a strange taste to it thanks to that sauce.
The bacon pancakes were good but nothing you couldn't make at home by just dropping crumbled bacon into batter while making pancakes. Side of bacon you cant go wrong with, it would be very hard to mess that up.
The cinnabun pancakes were delicious. A little too sweet to make a whole meal out of them but as a side of 3 pancakes it was just right. I also got a side of cream cheese syrup which went great with the cinnabun pancakes. Big sugar rush though.
Service was attentive, coffee was refilled, food came out quickly everything you would expect from a breakfast spot. I will give it another shot but definitely order different stuff.
