  • We've had two great experiences with Terry at Amazing Leak Detection. On Christmas Eve of 2013, we lost our hot water. Our usual contractor suspected a leak under our slab floor and recommended that we contact a leak detection company - I had never heard of one before. Terry at Amazing Leak Detection came over and quickly found the leak by pressurizing the water system and using his sound detection equipment. Terry was able to schedule a trip back to find the location of the leak and propose a solution. Sure enough, the leak was under the slab in the kitchen and Terry recommended a re-route using PEX pipe rather than jack hammering up our flagstone floor. He returned on New Year's Eve day and he was able to complete the job in one day - and it's been fixed ever since. And the cost was a lot less than ripping up our floor. We had to call Terry again last week (June 2014) when our water stopped flowing on one side of the house. Thinking it might be related to the hot water re-route of 5 months earlier, I called for help. Terry came out on the same day by lunchtime and was able to quickly find the problem - our water softener had self-destructed and resin had plugged the inlet water line. Terry quickly fixed the problem by removing the softener and cleaning out the water line. We will use Terry again and we recommend him if you suspect a leak or another plumbing problem.
