  • When we moved to Mathews we noticed planet ballroom right away, or at least I did. When we got engaged we thought it would be great to learn more dance moves for our wedding and maybe keep a hobby we would both enjoy while we are living in Matthews, which we plan to stay here a long time. Our instructor was wonderful and kind. Chad seemed to really love what he does and he is a great instructor! However when it came to the price for 6 month package, which is the least amount of months you can sign up, it was too expensive. Private classes are about $125.00 per hour and we figured over a 6 month period we would be looking at $2500 if we did it around 3 times a month including tax our estimation, I may be slightly off, but not by much. If the prices were cheaper we would have loved to do it because it's such a great atmosphere and again all the instructors were friendly and happy to be there. We were very disappointed that we could my make it happen. If someone is willing to pay those prices it is a good place to learn how to dance in my opinion.
