  • We received complimentary tickets, so we were grateful to save $130 per ticket for preferred seating. Review: Sadly, we weren't entirely blown away by the performance. "Fifi and Maestro" opened up the show with comical banter and some inappropriate comments (not suitable for children). The show then opens up with a lengthy video montage of Criss Angel through the decades (not sure where they were going with this?), complete with loud heavy metal music streaming from the DJ booth, and Criss channeling a matching heavy metal-Megadeathesque voice / screaming throughout the entire show. All leather clad with matching black hair, I wasn't sure if Criss was preparing for a concert or a magic show?! Sadly, the show added raunchy material, burlesque dressed assistants and loads of random helpers to distract you from the actual performance. There were a few moments that did wow the audience: Criss magically appearing in the audience, the tribute to his son and other children with cancer, and the levitation finale. Despite the complimentary tickets, we would have preferred to have seen other Cirq shows: Beatles LOVE, Michael Jackson, etc... Tip: Save your money. Photographs prohibited in the theatre. Some content may not be suitable for children.
