| - As it is, I'm not a huge fan of haunted house attractions, so I wasn't necessarily in the best mood when we went here, but I was willing to make the best of it!
Firstly, there was a ridiculously long line to even just get inside. We tried to get tickets online but that didn't work so we had to wait in the crowd. Just as these attractions go, there's someone who stands in line for a group and then 5 others join them, so it takes a while to get through. Be prepared to be patient!
When we were finally inside, more lines awaited us in front of each house. If you're going in the first couple of weeks of when this opens next year, I recommend getting the express pass. There were only a few people who had it when we were there so they were getting in pretty much as soon as they stepped up to the house.
The houses themselves were interesting:
1) Chainsaw Mayhem - lots and lots of zombie things that were roaring chainsaws at us. Scary? ... Yes, mostly the big loud noises.
2) Undead - the first scary thing (which you'll know when you go through the house) really got us. Otherwise, it was fairly similar to the other one.
3) The Bunker Invasion - this one was just mostly weird. Our experience was a little bit ruined by the group we had to walk with as they were just telling stories the whole time we walked through!
4) Mouth of Madness (also known as the clown house) - YES! THE CLOWNS WERE CREEPY! Again, the group we were with was being rude by touching the actors when they weren't supposed to be ... got the clowns riled up even more!
5) Legends Las Leyendas - wasn't too terrifying, and actually pretty similar to the first two!
I'd say overall, go if you're in the mood to be scared. Putting aside the negatives, you'll have a good time at this one-in-a-year attraction!
