| - For the last year I have been paying a monthly fee at a self serve car wash. Unfortunately, a few days ago as I was shaking my preworkout on the way to the gym, my shaker exploded and preworkout drink went everywhere. This, I thought, needs professionals. So the next day I took it down to Fancis and Sons to get a wash and have them clean the interior. So I was pulling in about 15 minutes before they close hoping they wouldn't be too upset that I was coming in close to closing time. There was only 1 other car in the whole car wash and there were 2 guys vacuuming it out. As I pulled behind them they both stopped what they were doing, 1 stared at me and looked at his watch, the other shook his head, the looked at each other and said something and went back to vacuuming. I apologized to one of the guys and asked if I was too late to get a wash, he said no. So I explained to him about the preworkout incident and told him I would like that all to get wiped down. I purchased the VIP $30 dollar car wash and went inside.
As I stepped inside there was only the owner of the other car and the cashier in there. After the owner of the other vehicle left a young kid walked in (maybe cashiers boyfriend). He talked to the cashier and as he was talking to her he touched pretty much all the candy below her window before settling on a few pieces and putting a lollipop straight in his mouth and a few in his pocket without paying for them. The cashier then asked him to share a smoke with them and they both left to smoke. I was in the checkout area by myself for a good 15 minutes... I mean there were drinks, candies, chips, matts, a open door to the register, all left open to me. After they came back the both went into the cashiers room and the cashier started inspecting his mouth and sticking her fingers in there... Yeah..... This happened in clear sight. .. After a few minutes of watching the cashier dig into her boyfriends with her fingers, one of the guys came in to tell me my car was done.
As I walked out I gave the guy a 5 dollar tip and thanked him for taking care of me even though it was late. He was being pretty cool with me, and then he gave me my keys and wandered off. I hopped in my car, looked around, and thought "this is why self serve car washes are more and more popular". The guys wiped down the areas but did it very lazily and skipped a lot. I could wipe it away with my finger which tells me they didn't even try. I got out but the guys were already inside the shop. At that point I just figure id cut my losses and move on. I will never come back to this place at all. 35 dollars to have my exterior washed, and watch a man get fingers shoved in his mouth, and lets not leave out a dirty interior...
