It takes a lot to make me feel like I am not in the Phoenix area anymore, especially at 108 degrees during the dog days of June. Well I was pretty close to that today.
Hyatt Regency Scottsdale is a Oasis property right in the heart of the Sonoran Desert. With it's gorgeous pools with actual sand beach, to a Lilly Fish pond with koi fish under a very dense canopy of native desert trees. Which believe it or not bring the most shade I have ever felt in Arizona under natural style vegetation. It actually feels cooler right next to this Lilly Pond. To a Lagoon that wraps the property that is teeming with fish. There is an actual spot you can feed the fish over by the sand beach. No kidding they sell fish food for a quarter. To a world class golf course that is actually green in the summer time, hahahaha. Yeah a lot aren't in Phoenix this time of year.
I can't vouch for the food because I didn't eat at the property, nor can I vouch for the actual rooms since I just was there for business. But I can vouch for how amazing the actual property is since I took the time to walk the whole thing today. Kids really did seem to be enjoying the sandy beach and water slide. Looked really cool.
One thing I thought was unique and very interesting when I was walking around. There are suites on the property called Casitas. They are right on a little lagoon that I mentioned wraps around the property. The one teeming with fish. You get your own private Jacuzzi right next to the lagoon also you get stairs that go up to a shaded roof top deck where you can chill out and have a view of the golf course and the lagoon. Very cool. I suggest staying there if you can afford it. Like I said it is very unique. I added a picture so you can see.
Hopefully one day when I win the lottery I might be able to take me Carlo's sr and the little one to this paradise. hahahaha You all take care.
