My husband and I walked out of the place, right at the front desk. We walked in to find out more about the facilities because we live in the area. Even though we have a 2200 sq ft facility available to us. We heard about some of the other features we were interested in exploring.
The individual at the front desk immediately pushed a Pad in front of us to just sign, so we could view the facilities. Upon closer investigation noticed in the fine print that upon signing off we would become immediately open to marketing.
Explained to the him that we would like to preview the facility before opening up our privacy to marketing. Even asked, what if we didn't like it? Is there a place to Opt out of marketing?
The rep advised us the only way we would be able to even check out the spa area, courts we would be required to approve their marketing. Found it really hard to believe opting out would be easy considering opting in seemed forced.
We had been told that it was way overpriced, so we were prepared for a trade-off if we got the kind of lifestyle experience, quality of service we were in search of. Not going back. Intended to right a letter to corporate offices.
Very crowded entrance, difficulty finding parking. Embarrassing, disappointing experience FROM THE FRONT DOOR.
