  • It was Friday afternoon and our water heater decided it was done. Jumped on Yelp and searched for water heater replacement and the first company after the ads was AHW&A with 332 5 star reviews. I called, they would have come out that afternoon but I hate asking for emergency service when none was needed. We agreed for Saturday service and was advised I would get a call between 8 & 9 Saturday morning and would be learn of our appointment time. 8:15 am Saturday morning Fidel called, said he would be at our home between 11 & 2, I believe he arrived at 11:30. Fidel was friendly, respectful, conversational and very professional. I tried to save him a bit of time by draining the tank, so after a few words we left him to his work. In an effort to get this slightly larger around water heater in the hole in the tile floor an upper cabinet needed to be removed. I had no problem doing it and had the tools, with Fidel's help (which he did not have to offer) it was down in no time. Fidel finished up. The copper pipe rework, water connection lines and electrical looked better than before. Had hot water in 90 minutes and life is good. Price was as quoted $820.00 for a 50 gallon tank, no water heater to dispose of, price and service as promised. Fidel went over everything, showed us were the manuals were and let us know he had set the thermostats at 125 which is where we had our previous one set. Yes it has 2 thermostat upper and lower. I recommend HIGHLY RECOMMEND AHW&A.
