Used Car Salesman and illegal business practices.
The first time I rented from here, I assumed their gas filling option was the same as Budget's (drive less than 75 miles, pay a flat $13.99 for them to top off the tank). Well, $100 in gas fill up later and the realization that they used a shady (what salespeople call "alternate ending close") trick to get me to buy insurance I didn't need, I was prepared for all of this the second time I rented. (They even charged me for $7 "upgraded premium roadside assistance." Uh... I have AAA and regular roadside assistance had I needed it, would have been fine.)
3/23/17 I had to insist twice that I did not want to purchase insurance. And after driving 37 miles, I filled the gas tank (with 3.13 gallons). They charged me $20 for fuel service anyway. I called, sat on hold for 15 minutes and finally got ahold of a woman who was flatly apologetic and offered me a $27 refund. There was no way this was an honest mistake. The gas tank was more than full when I returned it. I think they just do this to everyone and it's a numbers game to them, betting that the majority of people wont take the time to complain/ask for a reversal of the charges.
Usually, when you pay more (like with Hertz,) the service is better. Not here. Not now. Not these clowns.
Save yourself the hassle and money and rent from Budget.
