Boyfriend and I went here because we had seen it before and were curious to see what it was about. When we walked in, we were greeted politely, but after that while ordering our sandwiches and drinks the guy came off haughty and a little unwelcoming (as did the other staff members). The guy seemed very impatient with our order as we were deciding (we were the only customers in line, there was no need to rush.
I ordered a hot roast beef sandwich and the bf ordered a rueben. Both were hot (the good way) coming out, but it tasted like something was missing. I felt like I needed to dip my sandwich into something to add some flavor to it. It was neither a hit or miss with the rueben, but it was way better than others we have sampled.
The chips served with the sandwiches were very stale. Super, super crunchy when you chewed them stale.
The things we LOVED were the Strawberry Banana smoothies we ordered and my unsweetened tea. Their smoothies were awesome! Fresh made with real strawberries and bananas; I loved it. The only downside was that they don't have any whip cream so if you have a sweet tooth, you have a slight let down. :/
The tea was awesome, just a hint of raspberry to it.
If the attitudes change and the sandwiches get better, I might come back, but maybe just for the smoothies.
P.S. It's really stinky in the cafe part because of the bike tires. It might be a good idea to enjoy a meal outside.
