This was the first time at the Wynn where I didn't go to their outstanding, heavenly buffet. I def should have gone though because Jardin unfortunately did not hit the spot. First of all, it is one of the more 'casual' restaurants. Every restaurant in the Wynn and Encore is pretty classy, so be prepared for the higher prices that go along with the amazing decor and service.
The food here was creative, but the flavors were off-balance. The fried chicken and waffle was overly breaded and under-seasoned. I wanted to ask for cholula, but stopped myself since it was a $20 dish! The eggs benedict was on par with any other brunch restaurant. Their coffee tasted burned. They forgot our fries and our server had way too many tables. To be fair, it was super busy with long lines at the front all morning.
Sadly, I still haven't found a go-to breakfast/brunch spot in Las Vegas. Bouchon was also underwhelming, so maybe I should just stick to the Peppermill? That place is consistently good breakfast at all hours. Next time i'll pass on Jardin and prob do the Wynn buffet.
