The atmosphere is pleasant. The music island themes and nice. Very clean... except for the pretty disgusting email sign up sheets at the register AND soda/water dispenser where you get your utensils.
The house salad was good with a bit of fruit, a lot of sliced almonds on top and okay vinaigrette. The salad came out with the entree so entree wasn't really hot after eating the salad pretty quickly.
Regardless of the temperature, the entree, Volcano Mahi, described as
"YOUR CHOICE OF SALMON OR MAHI SEASONED WITH VOLCANO SPICES, TOPPED WITH MANGO-PASSION AIOLI & PINEAPPLE SALSA.
SERVED YOUR CHOICE OF HOUSE OR CAESAR SALAD & YOUR CHOICE OF RICE.
RUMBI RICE +.99"
was almost completely tasteless. The coconut flavor in the $1 up charge rice was detectable in only a few bites, the beans didn't add much and the fish tasted like steamed fish. No volcano, or any other flavor was really noticeable. The dish was presented EXACTLY as it looks in the photo online though, even down to the very colorful sprinkling on top, though apparently that's not actually spice.
3 star meal if it was $10-12. For almost $20 with a drink it's a 1 star meal in a 3 star environment.
